2010년 개발을 시작해 런칭한 후 그 해 100만명, 그 다음 해 1,000만명 그리고 2014년 12월 3억명.

매일 동시에 7천 만 건 이상의 업로드가 진행되고 있는 SNS 플랫폼, 인스타그램(Instagram)

제가 주로 사용하는 SNS 플랫폼은 인스타그램입니다. 인스타그램은 아이폰과 안드로이드폰 모두에서 사용할 수 있는 모바일 기반 어플입니다. 때문에 웹에서는 업로드가 안되는 게 조금 불편하게 느껴지기도 합니다. 

인스타그램의 매력은 이미지 위주의 플랫폼이라는 점입니다. 구태여 많은 말을 담지 않아도 사용자가 쌓아 올린 이미지만으로도 그 사람의 취향과 분위기를 유추할 수 있는 것이 가장 큰 재미인 것 같습니다. 또, 해시태그를 통해서 비슷한 취향과 키워드들을 모아서 볼 수 있다는 것도 큰 매력인 것 같습니다.
